Bio
Ray Malone is an Irish writer and artist living in Berlin, Germany, working on a series of projects based on various musical and/or literary models. Recently awarded Second Prize in the Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Competition. His work has been published in numerous journals in the US, UK and Ireland.

forming a word in the sand, waiting
for the water that will seep
in every hollow, step by step,
to sweep it all away,
what light there was,
what shadow,
swallowed whole,
the only sound the sea's,
the finger to your lips
