Nancy Scott

On the Night Train from Zurich to Rome

I
pull
up the
lank shade, not
expecting moonlight
illuminating the Jungfrau.

To Sedona

drive
north
through scrub
mark canyons
red rock pinnacles
hairpin turns, hug the mountain wall

in town Indian children hawk
crude Kachina dolls
hey mister
for you
five
bucks
