Lonnard Dean Watkins

Glass for Glass

top
shelf
working
our way down,
whiskey to lager,
downing glass for glass - competing
to find who could drink the most, who was more of a man.
I woke up with a boyish grin,
having never found
my manhood,
although
I
won

Wealth

eyes
closed,
smiling,
a monk sits,
freedom in his thoughts,
unbound wealth in his poverty
