Bio


Marion Clarke is a writer and artist from Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland. Her poetry and fiction has appeared in print anthologies and online journals. After falling in love with short form poetry a few years ago, she has been studying and writing haiku and senryu, and has had her work published in Frogpond, The Heron's Nest, Prune Juice, A Hundred Gourds, Notes from the Gean, Shamrock Journal, theviewfromhere, The Linnet's Wings, The London Tube Project, The Poet's Place Anthology and, most recently, AHA - The Anthology, the first collection from the American Haiku Association members and Bamboo Dreams - the first national collection of haiku from Ireland published by Doghouse Books.

Marion is a member of the Irish haiku society and in 2012 received a Sakura award in the annual Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival haiku contest.
