Editor's Note

It's been three years since the first issue of Shot Glass Journal was posted, and
Issue #9 continues to reach poets and readers across the world with quality short poetry. Shot Glass Journal #9 represents talented poets from Australia, Canada, China, England, Ethiopia, France, India, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Nigeria, New Zealand, Scotland, Tunisia, and the US.

This issue features young and emerging poets as well as award-winning poets with free verse and poetry forms that include the Butterfly Cinquain, Ekphrastic, Ghazal, Haiku, Lanterne, Ovillejo, Palindromic Cinquain, Nonet, Pantoum, Prose poem, Tanka, and Triolet. We hope the variety of style, form and voice offers something exceptional that the reader takes away with them.
