Bio
Kathe L. Palka's short tanka collection, As the Years Pass, won an
eChapbook Award from Snapshot Press in 2011. In 2015 Red Moon Press
published A Path of Desire, a book of tan renga written by Palka and the
poet Peter Newton. Palka also writes in free verse and published a fulllength
collection titled Miracle of the Wine: New and Selected Poems with
Grayson Books in 2012. Her work in both Japanese forms and free verse
is widely published. Together with Peter Newton, she has co-edited the
online haiku and micropoetry journal

Poet, activist, and ikebana artist, Susanna Rich was twice nominated for
an Emmy Award, and is a Fulbright Fellow in Creative Writing. Her
haiku/senryu credits include Modern Haiku, Frogpond, The Heron's Nest,
Prune Juice, tinywords, and bottle rockets. She is the author of five
