Anna E. Fullmer
Before Bed
Be vigilant
with the face
cream, neck
cream, and
rubbing upward
of the cream.
During sleep,
wrinkles bloom
from breasts,
souls fold
and crease.
Before done
being warm,
we turn cold–
a bent spoon,
a frozen feast.
Bio
I am a Library Assistant at Cleveland Public Library in the Youth Department, slinging story times and songs about the ABCs. Once upon a time, I was the lead singer of a band, but that was back when bands played shows. I write songs, poems, and to-do lists.
