Plateresque

Be bedizened if you may, if that a fate
you unbidden to
choose. As for me,
I'd like to bray & sooth

some say & bowdlerize some harvest
I could not otherwise script
or own up to, some lucky lamentation
that might so unterre me that from

some quantum of aloof labour
I could expect a satisfying scratch not
previously announced, a lifting
lilting touch upon my speech-
profaning self (humble now)
who only yesterday would feign
a mere taste lapse to explain my lack
of bedazzlement in verse.
