Bio
Michael Adkins is a sergeant with the Cabell County Sheriff's Department in Huntington, West Virginia, where he met his wonderful wife Jennifer twenty years ago in a Romantic Poetry class at Marshall University (featured in the movie We Are Marshall). The couple have three great children, two wild house cats and a sweet Cocker Spaniel who likes to get her hair cut super short and pretend she's a black and white hound. Michael's poems have appeared in Et Cetera, Appalachian Heritage, The Lyric, and Four and Twenty.
