Kamikaze Existence
Hap hazardly the soul swings
from one action to another,
like a mad monkey
through the jungle trees.
The mind grinds its teeth with horror,
like a helpless mother.
A prayer is chanted, and the soul finally perches on a
moment; scent of jasmine, summer rays and a cold glass of lime juice.
A sudden brash of a hand
disturbs the web of sweet memories.
The body is one, but screams in disarray.
