Michael J. Collins
Dharma Bomb
I know I'm dying in the hills of Tibet,
the second bardo unfolding,
streak of horror,
flash of failure,
the world collapsing,
always collapsed.
Perhaps I'll be a beetle for my sins,
destined for beak then bardo again,
unraveling at the seams under my own Bodhi tree,
where later I'll nap with a stomach full of sage
and dream of a world reborn.
