His poems and translations appear in Rattle, iamb, Palette Poetry and many other journals and anthologies. His work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. Currently a reader for Baltimore Review, he lives in Italy.

(Demi Sonnet)

My phone is tucked neatly into its case
like a vampire in a coffin, its edges
smoothed from handling. A hairline
crack graces its face like a battle scar,
protective plastic film fraying
around the edges. Like me, it's old—
both of our memories filled with holes.
