The affirmative not enough.
The slight sun of it totally lacking in shine:

neither grace nor the goodness
to prise open, to lift the lid

that is clearly waiting.
Whole rooms will stay painfully

padlocked by that sound.
The unheard for the rest of time

quelled by the small
neat click of a yes.
