Old Shoes

I'm so goddamned tired
worn out. Like old shoes
Tie my laces together
Throw me over the power lines
Worn out soul dangling
Twisting and tilting in the breeze
Half-way to the sweet by-and-by

Jim lives and works in a sleep deprived state in Southern California. In his spare time (and on his employer's time) he writes mostly mediocre poetry.
