The
world
is not
our oyster.
People think it is,
you know, but it's surely not true.
If you know, you know that a few people look for pearls,

then toss the lifeless, pearless oysters into the sea, where they wash up onto the shore

to be stepped on with soft feet in flip flops or picked up and placed into blue or red buckets,
becoming collectibles or sea trash, not food.

Did you know that one oyster has 8 grams of protein? Think of all the hungry people who
could be fed if oysters were used as food instead.

Did you know one wild pearl can be sold for 1,500 dollars? If you know, you know

that life giving things become viderii quam esse,
beauty on the outside, not in.
The pearl, not protein,
is valued
more than
the
world
