Bio

Radha Chakravarty is a poet, academic and translator based in Delhi, India. She has published more than 20 books, including poetry, literary criticism, translations of major Bengali writers, as well as anthologies of South Asian writing. In the Name of the Mother, her collection of Mahasweta Devi's stories in translation, was nominated for the Crossword Translation Award, 2004. She contributed to Pandemic: A Worldwide Community Poem (Muse Pie Press, USA), nominated for the Pushcart Prize 2020.
