Bio

Ceri Marriott is a UK writer who writes in English and French. Both rural and urban spaces are inspirational to her for writing poetry, with nature and everyday life providing an array of subjects to write about. Ceri mainly writes short forms of poetry such as haiku, tanka and cherita, and short / flash fiction. She has had her work published in the UK and the USA in print / online and has recently had her first book, Soirée, published as a recipient of the Cherita Award by The Cherita. Other publishers include Shot Glass Journal, The Fib Review, Poetry Nation, Plum Tree Tavern, Mobius: The Journal of Social Change, The Japan Society, London, Friday Flash Fiction, Nottingham Writers' Studio, and Charnwood Arts.
