As If
I
drift
from room
to room sprinkling
the holy water, making beds,
burning incense, lighting candles everywhere I go. I
try to keep my son from harm, the Hanuman Chalisa never far. After
the dust storm, my son's angel prints disappear,
as if they were never
here, as If
I was
never
here
