Bio

Brett Reid was born in Rotorua, New Zealand, but grew up in Auckland. His recreational life has revolved around sport, especially endurance sports. He has a great love for exploring the outdoors, particularly the New Zealand bush and coastline. While he has had a range of writing and editorial jobs he only began writing poetry just over a year ago. He is unpublished and has only recently completed his first public reading. The reading and writing of poetry has become an almost daily occurrence which has added a wonderful camber to his life, which he is wishing to pursue with more of a lean!
