Adam Day
Crossing Lines
Nurse of mists
finding her place
down the block,
windows watching
beanbag rounds
and iPhone glow.
Sky's dipper hangs
low; egret nested
in the moon; police,
students of performance
studies like hiding
under the table
at a dinner party,
birthing future children
of the present fire.
