James B. Nicola
The Single Moon
Does the waning moon
stop "loving" me?
Maybe,
but not necessarily.
Though she'll disappear
she'll reappear
soon.
Her reaching roundness makes me reel
as if she really cared.
But her bachelor gadding makes me feel
un - paired.
