When
When your teeth churn like chalk
Into a crushed-grinding of the
Things you thought
The dreams that still spring
Right into the eye of
A junction between
Nostalgia and fear
A sense of things
Better or not better before
The fear of the novelty
Being worn
Worn like an old suit
That pleases a sound
Torn between now and then
