Anthony Ward writes in order to rid himself and lay his thoughts to rest. He derives most of his inspiration from listening to Classical Music and Jazz- since it is often the mood which invokes him to set his thoughts to rest.

Picturing Happiness

I see the woman in Hoppers Chop Suey, all alone,
And think she is the one for me.
Yet the only thing we have in common is that
We're both alone.
She doesn't see me 'cause she's just a picture.
If it was real I would sit in front of her
And she would think why
Is he sitting there?
Does he think I see him that way?
That's he's just a picture?
