I am an artist and writer living and working in Berlin, Germany, with work published in numerous magazines in the U.S., the U.K. and Ireland. The poems are from one of a series of projects exploring the lyric potential of minimal forms based on various musical and/or literary models.

of life on earth as if
there were ever other
after this
all falls from the tree
merely to be more tree
you're the mortal
all that is that will be
on its way to where it was
yours the tireless foot treading on
yours the thread the tree reels in
yours the eye stares up from earth
and wonders why
