Anthony Liccione
Heaven
there is heaven somewhere,
and I hear it takes eternity
to find it, but sometimes
they say heaven is within,
just around the corner
of your heart, and that what
we focus our attention on,
defines the gravity of what is
conjured in despair and what
is your hope,
but Milton once said, the mind
can make a heaven out of hell
or a hell out of heaven,
I just wish tomorrows didn't have
bounds to the past, and death
didn't have binds, to the future.
