Mark Nenadov is a poet from Essex, Ontario, Canada. He lives with his lovely wife and their two young daughters. Mark's poems have appeared in publications in the United States, Canada, Pakistan, India, Australia, England, and Ireland. He also has a poem in the Whisky Sour City anthology recently published by Black Moss Press.

Drought

We hardly got any rain
that weary summer
then the dreary clouds
cruised into town
shoving the bruised ego
of the drought into the amazing tide
of sparkling, glistening raindrops
as barren yellow morphed
into blazing green.
