Cameron Morse
The Passage
Home is not a safe word
anymore. Ever since
the anger arose
in the cracks between cancer
and children, the cries.
There is no safe
distance from home, no
stopping place
beyond place. Bookmark
the passage is a waterfall.
The passageway folds back in
on itself, collapsing.
I cradle my head in my hand
pretty sure this is the part
where I explode.
