Lonnard Dean Watkins lives in Wellington, New Zealand.

Dean is a regular contributor to the fib review and is also an accomplished haiku poet, where he's won online contests and has been published on the Heron's Nest haiku journal.

Since he began to draw and paint at an early age, Dean has always been fascinated with shades of gray rather than colour. This has been more recently demonstrated in his series of paintings and poems influenced by the great Zen poets and artists of the ancient Chinese Tang Dynasty.

Dean has recently taken on the responsibilty of web master for Muse-Pie Press.
