Buried

In
un-
marked graves
my people
lie, if they're buried
at all. Their ghosts / tremble the air
like lighting about to strike, screaming / of injustice
of good people / murdered / by ignorance. But for / those ignorants: their memories lie

still
and
quiet
as ashes.
