Snow Drop

Snow
drop
flower,
tremulous
winter survivor,
stronger than us when the snows came.
Shared warmth perished under that cold crystal burial.
You, delicate flower, flourish,
straight-backed with head bowed.
snow gilded,
weeping
for
us.
