Bio

Dave Healy formerly taught literature and composition at Bethel College and the University of Minnesota. He also edited Public Art Review and a community newspaper, the Park Bugle. Currently he is a freelance writer and editor living in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Nancy. His poetry has been published in Elysian Fields Quarterly and the Turtle Quarterly.

Some
times
you lose
them before
you really lose them.
They drift in and out, here and there.
There are good days and bad days and heart-rendering days.
The night they go into all too gently is not good and it is left to us to rage.
