Bio

I am a lady of advancing age, greying at the temples, and enjoying the benefits of retirement. I enjoy words and have developed a love of Haiku, Tanka, Fibonacci and other forms of short poetry. The challenge of saying as much as possible in as few words as possible is a challenge indeed for any female. I'm having success with my poetry and am a published author of short fiction, two Sci Fi Romance novellas and am working on the third. It's all 'word play' - which I love.

On the horizon on the reef, the Rena
stuck fast on the Astrolabe
breaking in two
torn apart
by
weather
wind
and
swelling seas
spilling its contents
oil, wood, containers, and debris
leaving black beaches, dead birds, a grieving nation
